The legislature usually consists of members who have been elected by the members of public to represent them in the government. Some good examples of the legislature are the congress in the United States, The Houses of Parliament in London and Duma in Moscow. In most countries the legislature usually consists of two houses, the upper house and the lower house. The upper house politicians usually represent the states while in the lower house, the politicians are elected to represent their constituents. The executive is usually made up of the cabinet and some members of the legislature. It is usually headed by the leader of the government.
